We are an independent agency specializing in personal lines with some commercial, life and health accounts. We are seeking a truly motivated, energetic sales person that knows what it takes to make a sale! We are not looking for someone that wishes to punch in at 9 am, punch out at 5 pm and ask when is the next vacation day. We want someone driven to make serious money! We will provide you a fantastic "home base" in North Naples & Coral Springs , technology, support, training, and all the carriers you wish to write through. 

This is a commission only position, so the weak need not apply! However, if you are a sales superstar and are tired of working under someone's thumb, then this is your dream come true. We pay an insanely high commission rate on new business in the first year, while you get your feet wet. As you build your book of business within ours you will receive renewal commission in addition to new business commission! If you have a book of business that you can take with you, even better!

CSR / Underwriter / Inside Sales Person (Coral Springs)

Salary: $24,000 - $35,000 /Year

We are seeking a self-starting, coachable, and service-oriented team player to continue the growth of our business.

  • Answering phones, managing call flow, and greeting clients.
  • Assisting and supporting licensed sales professionals in the completion of new business and renewal of existing business.
  • Supporting the licensed sales representatives in whatever ways best helps them produce more (i.e. completing paperwork, following through on items, etc.) 


We are multifaceted practice advising our clients on a variety of different areas including but not limited to auto, home, life, health, business and professional liability insurance, investments, banking and financial services. Our sales associates need help following through on paperwork, service calls, and other follow-through work that allows them to maximize their time with clients and the production of the agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES TYPICALLY INCLUDE: 

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Generating quotes for new, existing clients & binding policies
  • Processing payments and updating policies
  • Relationship building
  • Setting Appointments for Sales Associates to Help Clients with Insurance & Financial Reviews. 


DESIRED

  • Auto & Fire Insurance Licensed (440 or 220)
  • Life & Health Insurance Licensed
  • Fluent in English & Spanish (Oral & Written)
  • Minimum of 2 Year Associate Degree
  • Willingness to proactively make clients aware of the ways we can help them with our products and services. 


BENEFITS

  • Great Earning Potential ($24,000 to $35,000 plus Bonuses Based on Performance and Agency Growth)
  • Ability to Earn $10,000 to $15,000 of team bonuses based on outstanding agency production results.
  • 2 Weeks Paid Vacation within the first year with the possibility of earning up to 4 weeks per year based on outstanding agency performance results.

Position requires someone who excels with work requiring attention to detail and persistence in following through with tasks and issues. This position has the potential to lead to other opportunities within the organization.

Hours are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm with one hour for lunch.

REQUIRED

  • Has worked with and understands Applied “TAM” System
  • Has worked in an independent agency for at least 2 years
  • Has worked with “Ezylinks” auto rater software
  • Knows underwriting guidelines, endorsements and service for independent companies listed below

Tower Hill, Frontline, ASI, Pure, Universal, Ark Royal, Olympus, Progressive, Mercury, Travelers, The Hartford, Safeco & Bristol West.

  • Has quoted, bind and process apps with these companies
  • Can write polices and will be compensated for it, but main objective is to create proposals and help sales reps increase sales.
  • Great multi-tasker
  • Organized and efficient
  • Problem solver and go getter
  • Comfortable working in a flat organization (one position not higher than the other…everyone helps with phones)
  • Self-starter who follows through and does not need to be micro-managed
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield starts 90 days after being vested with agency, company pays ½ of BCBS until your vested for 12 months, then GIG pays 75%
